We especially hope you'll try our fish dishes -- as Kerala is most famous for its fabulous seasoning and cooking of fish.

At the Rice Boat we cook in the way Keralans cook at home -- with spice they grow in their own back gardens.We use fresh green vegetables, cookied lightly and tempered with a magical light touch fo spice. We use fresh fish and meats, as is the custom in Kerala where, because of the lack of refrigeration, foods must be consumed totally fresh.
